When first coming in search in 1994, and for the following 10 years, I had worked exclusively with top-tier strategy consultants; both clients and candidates from McKinsey, BCG, Booz, Bain, Mercer, and the like. During that time, I had also completed many retained Strategic Planning and Business Development searches; for Abbott Laboratories, Alexion, Compaq Computer, General Electric, Hoffmann-LaRoche, Levi Strauss, Lucent Technologies, Pfizer, Searle, Sprint, and Takeda as well as Warner-Lambert and Weyerhaeuser.

After then deciding to work only on behalf of the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sector, I had also expanded my search capabilities to include marketing, clinical development, and market access. I was delighted to also help many clients further build their Marketing and Neuroscience franchises; Abbott Laboratories, Acorda therapeutics, Eisai, Medtronic, Quest Diagnostics, UCB and Wyeth. I was pleased to also help the President of Genzyme’s Rare Diseases franchise bring on board their Vice President, Global Market Access.

Early in my career, I had also worked in healthcare; as a medical secretary at NYU, I first worked for the Chairman, and three other neuroscientists in the Department of Physiology, and several years later, the Chairman of Surgery; one of the pioneers in cardio thoracic surgery.
